Hugo Chavez is just wasting time and money taking that battle. I don't think he could change those that has been lasting for many years…Do all people in the country want the same as Chavez? Hugo is just the dictator who is tired of all amererican staff…has that natural hate to all US, and who couldn't just understand that millions of people use English words, which is really convinient and which is gonna be forever…
Probably he is going to forbiden many othere US things, this is just the begining. He chose the right way to start with, language is a great power, one word could change the world, but I don't think he'll get too far in changing the dictionary…People are more democratic today, more friendly to a global language mix process, and it's imposible to persuade them to talk and think in different way.
