The largest country in Europe after Russia, Ukraine is situated right in it’s(Europe) center, in it’s heart. The teritory of the country lays on the crossroads of East,West and South, so it’s often called the Gate to Europe., no wonder, lots of refugees from Asia and Africa use Ukraine as a transit way to get to european countries, but many of them as soon as they get here decide to stay for ever…Ukraine is famouse for it’s rich and fruiful lands and amzing landscapes.
Even though the ukrainian government doesn’t use all teritorial and natural privileges in the right way and famous for it’s corruptsy. People who have power just thinking about themself, trying to get as much money as they could.
Ukraine has a pretty weak economy, mostly dependents from Russia. The country is still trying to find the right way of development, needs and waiting for the great investors…
The best standard of living in Ukraine is in the capital – Kiev, the whole country work for one big prospering city, where all power and wealth is consintrated. The Big Capital Bosses, having lots of money, buy all the best companies and lands around the country, try to get the best piece of the cake…
The avarage monthly salary in Ukraine is about 200 – 400 dollars, which is definitely not enouth for normal living, people could only satisfy their first needs, That is why ukrainian population goes down every year.
There are couple ways of better life: go to live to the capital or go out abroad. Many people leave the country in search of better life…Among the seconds one and I.
I first left Ukraine and went to England when I was 18, went abroad to earn some money to take care of my family, my education and my future…I never thought to leave my country and not to come back ever again, I would never change my home for any other country in this world. I love Ukraine and I know this is the place where I want to live, have family and meet my old age.
Despite all of these problems, Ukraine is still famous for it’s amazingly hospitable and kind people with the great open saul and friendly traditions, delitious homemade food and drinks, harmonious and soft language and music…There are lots of historical and natural places to see and enjoy…Every foreinger could feel a great respect and have a great pleasure in Ukraine…Welcome to the land of great opportunities.
The hope of better future
